Shamit Khemka, the managing director of SynapseIndia, gives immense importance to the role of punctuality in his life as a business leader. In a business setting, a lack of punctuality is something that cannot be overlooked. There are obvious incidents that are simply out of your control – such as when your car breaks down or a when your plane delayed. Such incidents, however, are rare.
With an astronomical increase in the use of technology in our daily life, being punctual has become significantly easier, theoretically. Your digital calendar is synced on all your devices and it sends you alters and reminders without failing; AI is constantly tracking your activities and setting reminders for important tasks; the GPS on your phone and car can predict exactly when you'll arrive at your destination. However, the contrary is happening. It has become easier to text your boss that you'll be half an hour late due to “heavy traffic,” email/WhatsApp enables you to easily postpone a meeting 15 minutes. This means technology is not preventing lateness. Perhaps it's making tardiness more acceptable. The solution to this problem should be found in yourself, not in your iPhone, says Shamit Khemka. You should hold yourself responsible for your inability to show up on time, not your device. For more ,Click here : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BHdLgnd_pX8
